Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

Would you have the AC compressor lower mounting bracket (that mounts to the exhaust manifold) and/or the AC diverter box? Are the seat belts dark green and what kind of shape are they in?

Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

What about the "strap-style" bracket that runs from the back a/c compressor to the bracket on the intake manifold?

Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

I have posted seat belt pics, I would call them olive. I do have the diverter box and several other inside parts. But I have no brackets for the compressor.

Will post a pic of the dash and the firewall AC area. Dash is warped on driver side, but can be fixed.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

I'd be interested in the A/C control if I thought it'd be an easy swap from what I have now. My current set up is this: The PO installed a Vintage Air, A/C system and has the controls connected to the factory controls, but....the truck I have did not come with air, so it's sort of jerry rigged.

Would this A/C control of yours work with my set up?

Real sorry for the stupid question. Just not sure about anything on this old truck. Haven't had it for very long.

Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

If I was first in line for the seat belts, I'll pass. I was really only interested in the center set and I know that you want to get rid of the whole set.

Re: 72 AC control, bed, mirrors, etc

BESTCHEVYFAN - posted firewall pics for you. The price is you came and get it, my sawsall will make quick work of this. I ran out of pic space but I posted a pic of the damaged drivers side. I really believe this can be fixed.

BABYJOHN - As for the AC control, since you said your stuff is kind of rigged I do not know what to tell you. Except that this control does work for a stock set-up.

WIBILLY - Cargo light is pitted, would work for a driver, let me know if you want a pic.

JMAC11 - Pass. side is the side that was crunched, I had to buy inner fender and battery tray for my 70 truck. Imagine that is where yours is gone also.

That's kinda what I figured.

Let me re-phrase. My truck didn't come from the factory with A/C. The PO added a Vintage Air A/C system and connected it to the factory heater contorls.

I'd think if the Vintage Air worked as a replacement A/C system, it should work.

Let me dig around in the couch cushins and see if I can find some money and slip it past my old lady.

If you get a buyer for it, go ahead and sell it.

Maybe I'll get lucky.

If your going to use the doors in a 70' are you going to keep the long shafts?
I need the long shaft piece that the interior door handle attaches to. (drivers side).
