Trailer wiring
Yesterday I finally cleaned up that rats nest of a wiring harness under the back of my truck. While there, I found a small connector that looks stock and appears to be for towing something. It's a flat connector with 3 female and 1 male connector and have the correct colors for the rear lights; 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 brown and the last is a light yellow and may be a ground?
Is this something that all trucks got? Mine had the step bumper originally, maybe that's why? Just curious...

That's the hookup for trailer lighting. It's the same for my little unility trailer made from a 68-72 LWB bed. My car trailer has a 6 way round plug, but has an adaptor to convert to the 4 way. My trailer has electric brakes. I need to upgrade my truck to the six way bef;ore I start using my truck to tow to Pomona!

I recently hooked up my 67 so I could tow my boat. I also have those wires you are talking about. Sure made it easy. Lumpy
