My 84 plans

I will post some pics of before this weekend, but here are my plans. I am going to pick up an 83 Suburban 3/4 ton w/ a 454/th400 to swap into my truck and then take the 350/th350 combo from he truck and swap it into the Burb. Not sure what i am going to do with the burb yet. As far as the 454 goes it will be bored and stroked to 496, have powerhouse alum heads, comp cams cam, holley hp 750 carb, rpm air gap intake, headers w/3" exhaust, and the 400 will get beefed up as well. I will post progress pics and such along the way.

It is going to get dropped a little and then I will start working on the body. Kicking around Ideas of wether or not to shave everything or go with the factory trim look.

My first line is to get the motor/tranny combo up and running.

Re: My 84 plans

Found out my 84 has a 305 and not a 350. Guy told me a lie. nothing I can do now it is just going to be a little be harder to get the money that I wanted to get for the suburban.
