Anyone think this will work

I am still an airride noob to the fullest extent. After doing some searching and researching, I still don't know exactly the bag setup I want to go with. Something I just discovered are the paddle valve assemblies. This is my basic setup. 70 c20, 3 inch drop spindles in front, possibly step notch or notch in the rear to drop the truck level when aired down. I don't want to hop, I don't need to make a lot of noise, I just want to be able to drive it around and take it to shows. When I get to the show I want to drop it to the bump stops. When I pull up to the Sonic in town I want to be able to drop it to the stops. Can I do this reasonably with some paddle valves and 1/4 inch line. I seriously don't care if the thing takes .5 seconds to lift to ride height, I just want ride height to be adjustable.
Will these valves work. http://www.fbirides.com/product.asp?idno=260313 I would basically be creating a 4 path with 4 switches. If I can get away with a two path system I would do that two, I just worry about any body roll that may create if air passes from one side to the other.
I really would like some feedback. If I can put this together with a tank some air line, fittings and a compressor...then i'm ready to get started.

Re: Anyone think this will work

Those will work.. About 10 years ago i did a air system with padel valves and a dual needle gauge like this one http://www.fbirides.com/product.asp?idno=260483 and it worked, very very slow but if you dont care about that then go for it.. Its always possible to upgrade later..

Re: Anyone think this will work

After talking to the guy at fbi he was saying that it would take like 2-3 minutes to air the system up and down, is that correct. Again, I don't really care, but i'm interested in how this would work

I dont remember it taking that long to air up the bags.. Now for the compressor to fill the tank yea, but i'm pretty sure it took under a min to air up the bags..

Re: Anyone think this will work

is there any problem with running 1/4 inch line to the front also, he said I should run 3/8 inch up front and 1/4 out back. Any reason for this.

Re: Anyone think this will work

If time isnt a factor it wouldnt make a differance. 1/4" will still put 100 psi in the bags. In the suburban i did 10 years ago we used 1/4" all the way around..

Re: Anyone think this will work

I recognize that valve as an air seat control on big trucks. Look thru this PDF file about half way down and you will see it. You can also get toggle type valves that do the same thing.

http://www.sloantrans.com/catalog/20...0valve-cat.pdf

Most of those valves they sell for cars and truck you can find in the trucking industry. But that doesn’t mean you will get a better price. And you definitely wont get the experience and tec support like you get from the venders here. Just gives you more choices if you want to build something outside the box.
