307 rear posi? or not?
i have a 69 c/10 and it is listed in the glove box to have a 307 gear ratio
i have never seen this truck drive as it was pushed onto the trailer and rolled off into my shop so how can i tell if it is a posi without hooking it up to a running drivetrain? i can get the #'s off it if that will help in my quest for posi

Pull the cover and take a look. Then you can tell if its posi or not.Or pull the cover and post a pic so we can tell you.

Re: 307 rear posi? or not?
Spin one hub and if the both turn the same way it should be a posi unit.
If they spin opposite it's a non-posi.

Re: 307 rear posi? or not?
If it has a spring pack (clutch in the middle) its a posi, it would look like this.
