Ouch, how did it get that way? Wasn't the body in pretty good shape? I've got a frame for sale, but it's got a body on it too...

I'm not sure what happened to it. It always looked low in the front passengers side. When I pulled the front clip, it looked like it had been replaced. Evidently it got tagged in the right front side at some point. Luckily the only thing I really did to the frame was the c-notch which will be easy to replicate.

Any reputable frame (body shop) could repair that for less than the cost and replicating work already done on this one ,If it were me I'd fix it or have it fixed. But I am only going by what I can see by your pics, I've fixed worse! These things are made of good workable (american) steel!

Couldnt you usa a truck frame & add the rear of the suburban frame & mounts. My wifes 72 sub was done that way.
