Mounting An A/c Compressor To Headers

I Know There Is Someone Who Has A Fix For This. My A/c Compressor
Was Originally Mounted To Two Exhaust Bolts On R/h Front.(with Ramhorn Manifold) I Beefed Up My Motor And Had To Go With Headers.i Dont Know If Using Spacers And Longer Bolts Will Be Strong Enough? What Has Everyone Done In This Case?

Re: Mounting An A/c Compressor To Headers

Most of the better header mfgs make the a/c brackets to use with headers.

Re: Mounting An A/c Compressor To Headers

I am adding vintage air right now myself. I am using ALAN GROVE bracket for the a c and going to have to modify it somewhat. The front header tube on the left side got in the way. I am cutting this bracket off using only the front header bolt and am going to weld a 90 degree piece to the head bolt holes on that side. I hope this makes sense. I have nothing bolting to that head at this time. I moved the alt. to the driver side for cleaner look.

Re: Mounting An A/c Compressor To Headers

I have an Alan Grove setup that I will sell you.
It doesn't mount on the header - so you don't have to worry about that interference.

It is the 100R seen here:

PM me if interested. It is brand new never used - still unopened hardware.
