Brand new short steel floors available...
I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but the new shortbed steel floors are finally available for purchase. I just got the new Brother's catalog last night and they're listed in there for $599 with a minimum $125 freight charge. Just thought I'd pass along the info.

interesting, i just picked up a diamond in the rough on the cheap, but that would save a ton of labor.

Re: Brand new short steel floors available...
I called JC over at Brother's trucks and he told me that the floors are still 2 to 3 weaks out. Way cool though!! We have been needing these for a long time. WES

Re: Brand new short steel floors available...
shocking to me, that this item is just now comming available (with as many other repro parts as there are), with as bad as the rust can be in the bed floor.

Re: Brand new short steel floors available...
DREW67, from the pic in the catalog it looks like just the floor, no sills. I'm just going off the picture though. They have the sills listed for $39.99 and $99.99 for the rear one.

Re: Brand new short steel floors available...
It`s a great day in history!I expected them to be a bit spendy. Most large pieces of steel are these days.F-100 cabs are reproduced.Wouldn`t it be neat to be able to buy a new cab for our trucks?Well, expect to pay around $6,000.That`s what the Effy cabs cost.Figure what putting together a woodfloor from scratch would run ya.The steel`s not that bad.
And,I just picted up a pair of suweeeet rustfree CA short Fleetsides last weekend. Before too long,if you guys are going to a swapmeet you better leave room to haul a bedfloor.A smart vendor will haul these to shows if he can.Save on that shipping.
