Injection into the tail pipe with alcohol. Makes nice blue flames.

weld a bung in your tailpipe for a spark plug. wire up a coil to the battery through a switch, run the coil wire to the spark plug. Rev the engine and just as let up on the gas pedal, hit the switch and watch the fun. Your exhaust is flammable due to unburned gas, etc. To put out the flame, punch the gas pedal again. It'll blow out.
To get a longer flame pipe in some propane. Here is my disclamer: Be careful with this stuff. Watch out for kids, small animals, and the elderly. And for goodness sakes, make sure you don't have any fuel leaks.

My dad's 69 galaxie500 use to do that. Though I don't think it was intentional.

you can do it with a couple lines from a propane tank the goes into the pipe behind the plugs so the exhaust pushes the gas over the spark plugs and just flick the switch for the plugs and youll have some good flames

I don't know, they could come in handy if your pipes come out the side and there's some bone head revving his Harley with open pipes next to you.

nothing wrong with doing flame throwers as long as youre not stupid when you use them, same as a burnout
