got a 1970 gmc k10 today

its kind of a pos but its got a 4" lift and 35's.

No 67-72 GMC or Chevy truck looks like a POS. I always look at our trucks as what they can become and not where they have been. Even rust and dents don't take way the fine classic looks of our trucks.

Looks to be a good start and in decent shape. Being in the rust belt also, looks like in great shape compared to many I've looked at in search for my 4x4.

K1500 actually... looks great compaired to the rusted out crap in this part of the country

Thats the same color combo my 72 K-20 project will be if I ever get the bodywork done. Looks like a good start, Whats the deal with the tailgate?
It looks like its off a later model truck. Dont get frustrated the body on mine was much worse than that, after a couple of months its starting to look pretty good.

Looks like the right gate to me, but the gate, or the trunion is FUBARd.

the box is falling apart, so the tail gate is bolted to each box side to keep it in place. had a wood floor but a beaver eat it.
