Wink Burned again on e-Bay!

Here is the latest rip-off that will not refund my money for a incorrect title listing. Be carefull had a great feedback but will not refund my cash!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=250142535439
Always ask for the size or you may be surprised to find out they are for a C-60 not a pick-up as listed!

Re: Burned again on e-Bay!

just put in complaint thru ebay that item not as described you're covered up to $100 . it takes awhile but is effective i've used it twice and have gotten satisfactory results both times in fact sometimes they'll suspend the sellers priveledges till the complaint is resolved to your satisfaction

Also, if you used paypal to pay, file a complaint with them. They will freeze his account until it is resolved.

Re: Burned again on e-Bay!

Direct Drive?? What is that besides having it in high gear, i.e., each revolution of the engine results in the driveshaft turning one time. And, what the blazes does that have to do with parking light lenses?

If I had a truck that was headed for Concours class, I MIGHT be interested in giving $50 for a pair of lenses, but not in this lifetime.

Re: Burned again on e-Bay!

That part # was used from 67-72 I think. It shows it in the 1970 10 thru 60 series book:

Gr. 2.589 #5959160

Ser. 10 thru 30 (double duty)
Ser. 40 thru 60 (exc. double duty and tilt cab)

The "DD" means double duty, not direct drive.

Re: Burned again on e-Bay!

...Ebay is full of these lenses and full housings w/lenses...always listed as NOS for 67-8 pickups. You can tell the listers, but they just let the listings keep running.

Re: Burned again on e-Bay!

I have bought a few of these at swap meets. I get so excited when I see them and then I get home and realize they are to small to fit into my stock turn signal. I have probably done this 3 or 4 times. You would think I would learn!
