Got a short fleet bed today(pics)

picked up this bed today from fellow board member 72CSTC5.real cool guy even threw in a tailgate and a patch panel i need for the cab. bed is a little rough needs some bodywork on the drivers side, 2 new cross members and wheel wells,but overall its in good shape. im 24 and havent ever done any metal or bodywork but you guys give me the confidence to try it out.thanks

You're not going to replace the stepside are you?? I like the fleetsides but i'm more of a stepper fan on these trucks. Looks like the stepside in the last photo is in great shape

I agree, keep the stepside. Theres enough fleetside trucks, if ever do another one it will be a stepside.

I dig the stepside look also...but I went with a fleet. Sooo...Do what pleases you.

I did the swap from step to fleet also. Looks like you got a decent looking fleetside. Did you get the rear (taillight) wiring harness? The two are different from step to fleet. Good luck with the swap out!

i think your truck looks great now. hell keep em both. one week run the fleetside the next run the stepside. your neighbors will either think you have two trucks or are seriously mental
