Horn Relay
My horn never has worked. Is the relay the little square block that is screwed to the drivers side of the core support?. I figured it's cheap and might be the problem.

Yep, that's it. If it's working, you should hear it click when you push the horn button. If you can't hear anything, either there is no power getting to it or it's bad. Test it for power.
If it is clicking, your horns are probably bad. Test wires for power at the horns.

Isn't the horn relay an aluminum cased relay bolted to the inside fire wall around the steering column? Just above and to the left of the column? The only thing I remember being on the core support is the voltage regulator and the horns themselves.

My horn relay is on the inside of the firewall, at the base of the steering column. O.T., but related, one of my horns quit working, is there something in there that goes bad? Never messed with a horn in my life, so I don't even know how they work.

Oops! I think you guys are right. Im picturing one of my Chevelles.

I have never seen a horn relay go bad in these trucks. Usually it is the horns. Sometimes you can make them work by smacking them with a rubber hammer with power to them. I have also made them work by adjusting them. The adjustment screw is very small and it has a different head on it. Anyway it adjusts the points inside the horn. The points seem to stop making contact because of not being used. Just turning the screw back and forth will usually get the horn to working again. You want to have power to the horn when adjusting.
