1955 first series GVW 8800? 1.5 ton?
I found a 55 first series truck out here that is pretty straight and rust free but theres not enough on it to tell if its a 1 ton or larger other than the blue tag that rates it at 8800 GVW. Is this a 1, 1.5, or 2 ton truck? Will the cab fenders and hood fit a 1/2 ton? Thanks for the help.

The hoods and fenders are longer on the heavier trucks(above 1t).
