Educate me...what is the going rate for "Tow Hooks?"

I want to purchase some tow hooks and I don't mind being patient. What would be a fair price? I'm not looking to steel hooks off somebody but I don't want to pay a "flag pole" price either. I always say an informed mind makes a wise spender.

Re: Educate me...what is the going rate for "Tow Hooks?"

As a buyer I would be happy paying up to 68 - $150, 69-72 - $200, or 72 only - $350

As a seller I would be shooting for what 1969k10stepside posted.

Exclamation Re: Educate me...what is the going rate for "Tow Hooks?"

if you're looking for hooks to "use", you can use hooks of an 88 up truck and they'll even line up with your existing frame holes--you will need to remove the strap on the driver side spring mount and use the left hook on the right side of your truck and the right hook on the left side. i did this on a truck i sold. the 88 up hooks can be bought cheap off ebay or your local dealer.
if you're looking for OEM hooks then the prices posted above are what to expect to pay.

Re: Educate me...what is the going rate for "Tow Hooks?"

WOW!!!
Thanks for the update. I must have been caught in time because I did not realize these were going for this amount of money. I am hoping to keep the truck as close to original as possible.
