Just getting started!

I'm new here with a few posts,and just getting started.
Just picked this truck up 2 weeks ago for $1300.00. Re-man 350, w/ 17000 miles, 350 trans, w/ shift kit, 12 bolt rear, extra rear leaf springs, re-built front about 2 years ago, brand new duel exhaust, updated ignition, new brakes. Rust under both doors, just a little rust drivers side floor in corner about the size of 50 cents piece. Needs carpet, seat recovered. All gauges work, steering wheel has a crack in body shroud. A little work at the drivers rear bed corner. Bed cross members all good. No a/c
3rd. owner and the truck was original black.
Now where to start? I'm thinking to get the door rockers fixed first, then replace all the rubber bumbers, door seals and door window seals. Also put on the sport mirrors. As far as I know the mirrors that are on, came from tha factory, and no upper body trim or at least I don'nt see any evidence of holes where they should be. I also replace the glove box door already with original one.
I want to go with black and black. Also in other photos of interiors of headliner I don't see a center chrome going across, mine has one?
Well enough said, would like to here comments or suggestions.

You got the title, right? There is no way that anyone I know would offer such a vehicle for that price. Wanna double your money?

As for what to fix first....I'd do the rockers and floor pans. Check the kick panels, too. Then, the cab corners. Once the cab integrity has been restored, you can start on the "other" stuff. I'm guess that the rusty stuff you mentioned is normal for your area. But it doesn't seem to be excessive, in my way of thinking. Bear in mind, as I am sure your are aware, that what you see of the rust is just the tip of the iceberg that rust can become. Use an open mine when you start to work on it.

your going to need a new glove box door. haven't seen anything like that one before. must have taken some real ingenuity

Yep, have the title in hand. I do plan on getting the few rust areas cleaned up first. Now the door rockers, they just cut them out and weld new ones in? I've seen them around in mags. Not sure of the cost for someone to do them, any ideas? Now the drivers floor, it's such a small area and yes I do plan on looking further. I've also seen floor pans, I suppose a guy replaces the hole pan area? The cab corners are good.

That's the first thing I did was change the glove bax do. The PO, still had the original so I swapped it out and just layed the speakers in the box for now.

Come to Idaho they are like that everywhere, my last two rust free trucks I paid $500 bucks for and one was a factory big block ac truck
