How much fluid is in the...?

Can anyone tell me or direct me to a complete list of fluid quantaties?

I am just about to get my 68 back on the road and want to buy the fluids I need.
Everything but the engine and tranny are completely dry.

I need Quantaties for the rest.
Cooling, Power Steering, Brakes, Rear Diff

I have looked myself in different books and owners manuals but all I have found is what kind of fluids are supposed to be used.

Thanks!

Re: How much fluid is in the...?

I looked through my restoration packet, and it gives the specs for oil, and coolant. It varies for model and engine size. Coolant can be anywhere from 12 to 20 quarts depending on the engine and options.

Re: How much fluid is in the...?

Thanks for the answers everybody.

Being Iīm on a small budget, I donīt want to buy TOO much so I thought I would ask. Petroleum products arenīt that cheap over here.

Here are some more infos on the truck.
Engine 327 (was about 5 quarts)
Tranny TH400/375 (Havenīt filled it up yet because the driveline isnīt back in. It is supposed to be about 10 or 11 Liters with the Torque converter.)
12 Bolt Rear end
Standard Power Steering and cooling system
Brake cylinder is cast iron and I think a Bendix.

Re: How much fluid is in the...?

Should be about 2 quarts in the rear axle, 1 quart of power steering fluid, 2 gallons of coolant, and a quart of brake fluid. That is what I would buy as a start.

Re: How much fluid is in the...?

Thanks again. I wrote the amounts down. I guess I will see if they are about right.
