more question on project knuckle buster

ok me and my buddies have been working hard on ideas for my 72 rat rod called the knuckle buster
im lookin got ideas of a one of a kind rat rod shifter, keep in mind im on a tight budget. i have bounced the idea of a welded chain into a hook?
any idea on the shifter or any ideas of a cheap aftermarket or factory floor shifter to use as a starting point?
also anyone running dual stacks for the exhaust out the bed?

Re: more question on project knuckle buster

If its going to be a rat rod then you should make something and keep the theme. Use your imagination something like a chain, as you mentioned, or an old modified piston, camshaft.. etc.
