Bought a bed today
I have been trying to talk to who ever owns this truck by my house for months and never can catch any one, So today after I went to the dump I decided to leave them a note. Wala the guy is home. I ask if he wanted to sell any parts from this truck (71/72?) He said you bet what do you need. how about the bed-Hows 50 sound Long story short $200 and I get what ever I want from the truck. For me this is the best deal I have gotten in a long time. Here are some pics if they work. I have to go back and get the rest.

Nice score, all those parts and many many more still to be had... one stubborn bolt at a time.

Nice deal! Is the truck not worth just taking? Might save a little time in going back and forth.
Can't wait to see the new bed on the truck!

You know....sometimes I hate you guys I've been trying to get parts but keep hearing the same thing, "Someday I'm gonna fix it." Those good barn finds never happen to me.

That would of been nice but truck was hit in the front and had no tires and wheels. It was only a 1/2 mile from my house so not to bad. I have to go and finish pulling the rear end and that is about it. Jack

Re: Bought a bed today
The truck had a couple year old restore when driver hit something so front and cab were trash. It is a short step.
