Re: cnverting a 72 front end to a 68 what does it take?

i converted a 69 to a 67 front end and i think the process is the same for your truck. You will have to change the fenders, hood, radiator support, grill of course and the inner fenders. thats what i had to do, hope this helps

Inners are the same for 67-72, should have to mess with those.

Re: cnverting a 72 front end to a 68 what does it take?

The easiest way is to just do front clip swap. Unbolt it from the firewall and frame at the core support. Very few of the parts are interchangable between the 67-68 and the 69-72 frontends.

Re: cnverting a 72 front end to a 68 what does it take?

it takes reading this FAQ: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...highlight=clip

Then do the same in reverse to put you new clip on. Oh, and don't forget to buy your 68 clip before starting this project.

Nope. Fenders, and above mentioned items, are different

the fenders are different, so you have to replace the whole clip if you want the 67-68 grille/hood.
