Since it`s a "CustomCamper" would it be a leaf spring Dana60?That`s wahat I`ve found in most "CustomCampers".You need to let us know if it`s coil or leaf and Dana60 or Corporate HO52...Four choices.
BTW:Rules state all for sale items must include price.

Re: 3/4 TON 8 lug rear end out of '70 camper special
I have a 72 C20 Cheyenne Super that has a 14 bolt under it. So it's not the HO52 or Dana...is that another option?!

If it`s not round(HO52) then it`s the Dana60.Anything else would,at least, have had the rearward shock mount moved to the front.

Re: 3/4 TON 8 lug rear end out of '70 camper special
Really? It sure looks original. It's supposed to be a 1 owner truck from California. I found the build sheet under the front carpet. Would it be on there? It has leaf springs. Sorry, not trying to hijack. TTT Thanks

HO52 and dana... that's it.
The original owner may have gone into the dealer for repair and they moddified a then new rear to go under there... the original owner only knows it was fixed. Original owner may have swapped it out his self 30 years ago, and forgot all about it, so never told you. |

Wasn't the HO72 an option fot the 3/4 tons or was that only for the 1 tons?

Re: 3/4 TON 8 lug rear end out of '70 camper special
I've only seen or heard of HO72's in 1 tons or more. Thanks for the answers guys. The original owner is definitely less than dependable. Maybe it's a late 72 that got a 73 rear. Anyway, thanks again and last time...TTT
