Truck Died

Was driving down interstate when truck, radio, wipers etc. shutoff and haven't been able to figure out why yet... I have power from battery to starter to firewall into the cab but can't find power other then the headlight switch still operates the headlights, nothing else works. Any Ideas where to start troubleshooting outside the fuse box would be greatly appreciated...

Re: Truck Died

Might be a fusible link issue. These are "wire" fuses designed to burn when shorted, or over-loaded. They usually cause a number of things to fail at one time - whatever is on that circuit.

These are usually located in the postive (+) wiring harness near the battery. There might be more than one. Might want to take a look around and test all the leads coming off the battery.

Good luck.
