Get any good deals this summer?

Did any of you guys find any good deals this summer???
I Did pretty good...
I was looking for a parts truck for my son's c/10
here are the deals I found...
I picked up a 69 c/20 with little rust for 100.00 bucks. (an x-texas truck)
Then I found a k/10 with a bad body for $50.00
I'm putting the body from the 3/4 ton on it and keeping it to drive myself. The k10 came with a bunch of NOS parts that are worth well over the 50.00 we paid.

I picked up a set of buddy buckets for FREE. they need to be reuphostered.

I just found a parts truck that had a auto tilt steering colum in it. He wanted 100.00 for the truck, I was able to get just the tilt for 25.00..YES 25 bucks. Everything seems like it will work but the levers look bad, so i'm going to buy new levers, and it could use some paint to match my son's truck...

Found the exact tire for the K/10. The K/10 had 3 like new tires and I found one exact tire (new) on craigslist for 25.00

The c/20 body is going on the K/10 frame.
The cross member and trans is going in my son's truck. the c/20 has good dual exhaust that is also going on my son's.
my son is also getting the buddy buckets and tilt.

So for $175.00 this summer I got a complete drivable c/20 just needed the turn signals fixed, a break line and a belt.
A K/10 that needed a body and one tire. (c/20going on it)
A tilt truck colum. NOT a van tilt..but a true truck tilt.

buddy bucket seats in need of reupholtering.

a bunch of new old stock parts

WE DID GOOD.. REAL GOOD now if i can find some cheap tow hooks and tack dash

Wow long roof....2500.00...did you have it painted after you got it? sink another 3000.00 into it? If you want to make a profit i'll give you 2600.00? I've been wanting one but I don't think they exist in VA....at least not for sale at a price I can afford.

Re: Get any good deals this summer?

I bought a 98 Z28 last week for 6K with 66000 miles. The blue book is around 3500 more than that. It's been garage kept all its life and is in great shape. Not necessarily significant to the truck board except having it will allow me to start some bigger projects on my 70 c10 I just didn't have time for on the weekends.

Great deal on that posi....35 bucks...and 350 bucks for a am/fm that you paid 10 bucks for...

is there any way to tell if it's a posi rear without taking it apart? I'm wondering if the truck that I bought the tilt out of may have posi. I can't read most of the glove box door.
