Dropmember With Z
Here's some pics of one of our pet projects with a dropmember and a 2" Z. We're gonna change back to stock spindles they're not really needed in this app.

Re: Dropmember With Z
As you can see we are going to have some steering linkage issues.

We're actually changing that arm out it was only needed with the old cross member.

Re: Dropmember With Z
kool, mine barely clears when its dropped, im going to rework the suspension over the winter to get a extra 1" of lift and that will cause the arm to hit

Re: Dropmember With Z
Did you knotch the frame in the front where your Rack & Pinion is? And yes steering linkage looks like a prob? Im thinking of doing the Rack & Pinion on my truck but havent seen one completly done yet.

Re: Dropmember With Z
It was prob notched for steering arm clearance that's needed when using a sectioned front crossmember w/the stock steering shaft/box.

Re: Dropmember With Z
Unfortunatly work on this truck is kinda sparratic.due to it being a shop truck. I'll get some more pics up when I can. I will check into the wheel size and offset they are wheel vintiques but I didn't order them. Here's a concept drawing that was done for it.

Re: Dropmember With Z
Nothing yet to damn busy to work on our own stuff. Did get the diff narrowed to work with the rear offset. But the truck is offsite until we get some room. We have 17 jobs in the shop right now. As soon as I have some new pics I'll put them up.
