opinions wanted on Summit's quadrajets
I was wanting to know peoples opinions on Summit's remanufactured Quadrajets. Are they good, have problems?? There is a $60 difference in those and the JET brand stage 1. I was just wanting some input before I drop the cash.
Thanks |

Re: opinions wanted on Summit's quadrajets
Destro, my dad bought an Advance Auto Parts quadrajet off ebay (new parts vendor selling overstock) and it will burn the tires off the truck!. He paid $73 delivered but they run about $165 with your core in the store. Ragenrat installed one from Advance also and posted that he was happy with it.

Re: opinions wanted on Summit's quadrajets
Destro- the one on my dad's truck is the Champion 3609 for a 75' c/10. His truck is a 70' and it works flawless. You just look at the gas peddle and it will smoke em' at will. It was a bolt on except for an idle tweak. The screws are color coded and it comes with detailed directions on how to set it up. They really jumped in price. http://www.partsamerica.com/productd...ype=26&PTSet=A

Re: opinions wanted on Summit's quadrajets
The one I ordered was also a Champion reman for a 71 Chevy, the screwy part was that when I ordered it that was in Feburary of this year so either the price has went up or that is for a different year.
