Please post pics of of 67/68 & 69-72 fenders

Does anyone have pics of the front of 67/68 fenders and 69-72 fenders. I have a 70 GMC which Im planning on using the fenders from when I switch the front end to a 67/68 chevy and I just want to make sure I do have the right fenders.

Ive been searching through the forums but cant find any good pictures of the front of the fender where the grill meets it. Is there a noticable difference between 67/68 ones and 69-72 ones?

Ive only seen what I have so I was hoping you guys could post some pictures for me.

The 67-72 GMC's used the same fenders as 67-68 chevy. 69-72 chevy fenders are completely different at the front.

here's a pic of 67-68 chevy and 67-72 gmc fenders. 67's don't have turn signals, the rest do.

Re: Please post pics of of 67/68 & 69-72 fenders

I ran outside and snapped you several close-ups.

Pic 1 is a 69-72 Chevy fender
Pic 2 is a 67 Chevy fender
Pic 3 is a GMC fender with the trim installed
Pic 4 is a GMC fender w/o the trim installed

As you can see the 67-72 Chevy is the only one that has the defined ridge in the front where the grill mounts. All the GMC's and 67-68 Chevys do not.

Re: Please post pics of of 67/68 & 69-72 fenders

Ok, wow you can definitely tell a difference between 67/68 and 69-72 fenders. And I have the right ones for I want to do.

Thank you very much for taking the time to take those pictures. I will now continue with converting my gmc front end over to a 67/68 chevy front end.

Just a heads up, I have 2 extra 69-72 style hoods (one with the gmc letters on it), a gmc grill, gmc radiator support, headlights, and a stamped gmc fleetside tailgate (the bottom is rusted pretty bad though). If anyones in the central NY area and wants any of this it is all for sale, or for trade for a 67/68 chevy rad support and hood.

Not a problem! See, I keep telling my wife that having all these trucks is a GOOD thing!
