DJM 3" spindle, 2" lowered spring
I've looked around and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I'm hoping some of the suspension guys can lend some advice.
What I'm thinking about doing is running the DJM 3" spindle with a 2" spring. I'd like to get away with running the stock A arms but I'm not sure if it's the best thing to do. Tires will either be 255/35/20 or 255/40/20 depending on what looks right. In time, I will probably go the dropmember route with air bags and strong arms but I'm having a hard time swallowing the $4000+ price tag to switch everything out to air (front/rear). If I can manage with the price of spindles and springs for the time being I'll do that. I'm just not sure if I need to upgrade to aftermarket A arms to compensate for that low of a drop. Anyone running this similiar combination? Anyone see any potential issues doing it this way for the time being? |
