attn: 67 and 68 owners
Need Pictures of the radiator support mounts that are on the frame. Possibility that mine might have been hole cut to accomadate different mounts. Any pictures of virgin mounts will do me wonders.
Thanks guys, Dan |

Re: attn: 67 and 68 owners
If you are changing the rubber mounts with a cab mount kit that also contains the radiator supports and it doesn't look like it fits or causes alignment issues with the front end you possibly got a kit that has 69-72 radiator supports mounts.I know the kits say 67-72 but the rad sup mounts are different.
Just a thought on why you are asking.

Here are the left and right side of my '68.
Don't mind the dirt, I had some fun last weekend. The other stuff is what I call "surface rust"

Hope that does you wonders If not, check out my gallery and look for more pics (it's running a tad slow right now for some reason): http://satellitehead.com/gallery

Re: attn: 67 and 68 owners
the hole is so big (i assume) so you can actually move the front clip around when you go to bolt up.
think about it - if it's a static, tiny hole to fit that 7/16" carriage bolt, you can't move it forward/back/left/right/diagonal, so it really isnt' conducive to somewhat flexible factory tolerances. this is just my thought. by the way - ALL of the body mounts on the truck are that large. All body mounts use large washers and/or rubber bushings to compensate.
