this is good frame paint
I have seen this stuff used for semi frames where corrosion from acids is an everyday concern. It is call Endura, and is made in Edmonton,Alberta,Canada. The stuff that was used was the EX-2C topcoat. It's about $100 CAD for a gallon that comes with a reducer that when mixed gives you 2 gallons. Go to www.Endura.ca and check it out. They have epoxy primers as well. After it was fully cured a good blow with a 2 pound sledge didn't even chip it. It stays glossy as well.
This could be another one of those things that I thought was great, but everyone else has known about forever. For the Canadians on the board, Acklands/Grainger has the stuff, or can get it.

AWESOME
Thanks for the info. I have been watching the posts trying to decide what to use for my frame.
It is great to have a little Canadian content on the board as well. Trevor

Just went to the Endura site and was poking around. Which product were you refering to? The EX-2C says that it is chemical and impact resistant but then EX-2C TF-2K sounds really tough.
Just wondering Trevor

I am one of the guys that has been using it for years. I havn't painted a frame with it, but I have painted suspension parts, and every motor I have built in the last 12 years with it.
It works great!
