Love the color combo and the wheels. Can't wait to see it completed.

Re: 69 cst build

Thanks, I had the truck since i was 16, my dad and i restored it to where it is now. We done a ground up restoration, every nut and bolt has been replaced or restored. He stopped working on it when he turned 72 because of his health. I'm trying to finish it so we can take it to a few more car shows together. We showed it together for the first time this year in may. We won participants choice award out of about 200 cars or so. I was very pleased. Just wish he could help me finish it!! He's 76 now. We have tons of pictures of the restoration but not sure how to put them on here.

Re: 69 cst build

here's a few more pictures. Aluminum driveshaft, stainless 3" exhaust, turbo 400 with transbrake, march serpentine pulleys with electric water pump. Truck 12 bolt with 4" lowering springs, shock relocators. The body shop got overspray on my frame. I need to find a way to get my frame to look new again. Took truck to the track and done a best of 11.96 at 110 with a 60ft. of 1.76 with a set of older slicks. Truck was spinning off the line, that's why i went with a wider slick. Believe truck should run 11.50's with these new slicks and some drag shocks, and some tuning.

Re: 69 cst build

the dash is from no limit engeneering, can be bought polished also. The wiper switch and the lighting switch is relocated lower in the panel which required a little bit of cutting on the metal that holds the dash for clearance on the light switch. The guages are autometer, all of them are new except for the tach. I plan on replacing tach with matching tach later.
