I am stoked! Got a new welder today.

Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a new welder. I bought a Miller MillerMatic 180. Its 230v, up to 180 amps, and can weld 5/16 steel in one pass with bare wire and gas. Now all i need is a project that needs some welding. I wonder were i can find one of those

Great welder!!! That will take care of any welding needs on a vehicle... I use them with high schoolers everyday and they hold up very well....

Re: I am stoked! Got a new welder today.

just make sure to follow good fire safety practices no open fuel sources and at least one large fully charged fire extinguisher at arms length i also like having a turned on garden hose close by plus the old trusty bucket of sand

Ive seen that abuse.... its a miracle anything can endure that. They should hook up a plasma cutter to each stool and have a video cam in each booth.... ZZZzzzzzaaapppp!

Go ahead and buy yourself a spare micro switch for the trigger!! They wear out quick if you use it alot!!

If you haven't already, get yourself an instant on helmet. I welded for years without one and finally got one and it's the best money I ever spent on welding equipment.
