Dual elect fans for the longhorn

I am in the process of setting up elect cooling fans on the longhorn. I have fabbed the shroud, & plan to run 2 fans.......12" is about all I can fit on my setup. The fans I am looking at pull 1650 cfm ea . My Q ,is will 3300 cfm keep a 400 hp smallblock cool?

Get a pair of fans from and '88 to '92 Camaro firebird setup and then build your shroud for them. The aftermarket fans pretty much SUCK. The best fan I know of is the two speed fan from a first gen Taurus (Tore-A$$) but you may or may not be able to run two.

There are several high quallity electric fans being produced and it sounds like you found a great fan. My set-up blows 2500 cfm and is more than adiquit to cool my BB while towing a 5000lb trailer. You shouldn't have any problems with yours, that is more than enough cooling for your truck. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
