Another Funny Story

A few months ago, I bought my truck from a guy about 100 miles away. My own trailer was loaded with stuff, so I went to U-Haul to inquire about renting a trailer for the afternoon. Easy enough, I thought.

When I get there, the lady behind the desk says "We dont have any trailers". So, I ask about a tow dolly. She says "We dont have any two wheel dollys, but we have a couple of four wheel dollys available".

I have only been doing this for 25 years, so I was not familiar with a four wheel dolly, and she explains that a four wheel dolly keeps all four of the vehicles wheels off the ground. Totally confused, I asked to see one.

She takes me out back and shows me a freakin dual axle trailer.

The mind boggles...

Re: Another Funny Story

I have found in the past that working for U-Haul requires a degree in stupidity.

Re: Another Funny Story

Maybe to her, a 'trailer' is an enclosed box trailer?
