Looking for Posi Springs
I have a Junkyard (important to capitalize that, it's really a member of the family) salvaged posi from a '71 C10. I can't find an online dealer for a rebuild kit that can reliably tell me what comes in the kit.
the bearing preload washers shouldn't be hard to come by, but I'm having a hell of a time finding clutches and springs (I'm missing ONE spring). I pulled this thing without doing much research, because I knew I wouldn't likely see one again at the yard... I expected to be flooded with options for spring rates, etc. anyone? thanks for all the help! /g |

Try Randy's ring and pinion.

Re: Looking for Posi Springs
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. For anyone else who finds this on the search, here are the components for the 12 bolt rear positraction from 1963 to 1981.
