WIW - Slew of Parts...have a look
It seems that I keep finding people who have a load of parts that they want to get rid of...
Let me know what this stuff is worth...as a complete package. What comes with it: - 1969 LWB rolling frame - 5 bolt axles, disc brake front end - minor surface rust on frame - Long Bed - fair shape - needs floor - no tailgate - good quarters (comes with extra '68 1/4) - front panel may need some rust repair at the lip that goes under the floor... - 2 doors (complete with panels, handles, vent windows, mirrors, handles, etc.) - they both need work on the lower portions (where they all rust out) - 1 more so than the other...comes with good hinges and solid hinge points... - 2 solid '67 fenders - media blasted, epoxy primerd - minor body work needed only - 2 hoods (very good condition) - 1 67-68 and 1 69-72 - 2 new rocker panels from tabco or tri-plus (not LMC junk) - Included also are 2 cab corners new, a floor section, 2 kick panel patch panels, one dash pod that has a tach ,non factory but looks good, and 2 new and very nice chrome sill plates with new screws. - and "...lots of odds and ends that will go with it..." I have an idea what it is worth - but got a quote of $400 for all of this... Let me know what you think... Thanks Last edited by lks dcvn; 10-19-2007 at 02:47 PM. |

Re: WIW - Slew of Parts...have a look
I am considering buying this package from somebody else - I do not have these parts (yet) -
I wanted to see if these parts combined will worth the price he offered... but since you asked - $200 for both the kick panels shipped - Last edited by lks dcvn; 10-19-2007 at 01:46 PM. |

An answer to your question....yes it is well worth it. The fenders alone will bring close to that...buy it...you can at least double your money on this one if not more.

Looks like a pretty good haul for $400. You should probably ask yourself if you want to get into used parts dealing though. You'll probably have some of the (big) stuff left over.

Re: WIW - Slew of Parts...have a look
I bought it all and it is being delivered from Texas to me in Toledo, Ohio for....get this - $170... so I got it all for $570 delivered to my door (or should I say garage) - can't beat that (in my opinion).
Guy just happens to be coming to SE Michigan at the end of the month to pick up a frame (had to bring a trailer anyway) for another truck he is building and mentioned that if I paid some of the gas that would be good enough. I got the shipping/transport quote before I said yes to buying it. I will likely be selling some stuff, and I will let you all know when it arrives so I can assess the parts and see first hand the condition they are in. I haven't decided what I am keeping yet, but I will put up a FS post when I get it figured out. I will have to move the Impala SS out of the garage and into storage for the winter to make some room for these parts, and so I can do some work on the Blazer... Thanks for the input guys - helpful as always. |
