Windshield help
Re-doing the 72 this summer and want to replace the windshield. Have read a few posts that say the GM rubber "boot" is the way to go, as the aftermarket pieces are hard to install. Contacted a couple GM places was told that the piece is not available. Any advice would be appreciated. (I have the chrome trim)
Thanks Paul |

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
I live in Iowa. My truck is a '72 "heavy half". It belonged to my dad. He's gone now, but his truck is still here. I rebuilt it 7 years ago and it's time again, so I'll have lots of questions. The engine is out of a '71 Chevelle and is now a 360. White cab roof with blue body. Pretty cool to be going down the highway and have a 'vette give ME thumbs up. Thanks again for the welcome. This is a great list. Paul |

I picked up the rubber through a local glass shop. It went into a chopped top 69......no trouble.......69 longhorn. Oh,it was about$50
