Easy Differential Cover question...
Which way do you put the differential cover onto an Eaton axle? Mine came with the filler plug on the lower side of the cover, and then I saw another truck on this site with the filler plug on the upper side. Here's two pics.
Which is right? Thanks in advance!! |

the bottom pic is correct. It is also the level for the lube.

whew! That's a relief, as that's mine.
I was worried there for a minute as pulling the cover makes quite a mess. Thanks to you both for helping me out. Gotta love the board! |
