Got lucky, found some nice parts today.

I went to look at a tailgate today. He said it was new. I was thinking Taiwan. Instead it was NOS. I also came home with a set of NOS rockers. A set of rust free fenders(69-72 Chevy), a hood, a lund sun visor, and a dent free front panel for a fleet bed box with wood floor.

These were all remnants of a 72 C20 project. He ended up taking the truck apart and then lost interest before putting it together. The rest of the truck went to the salvage yard a long time ago.

I wish people wouldn't do that! If your going to take them apart, stick with it. Why didn't he find someone else to buy it and finish it?

At least the parts found a good home. We lost another oldie thanks to this guy...

This is why anyone that has experience with body off resto's will always tell an amature not to do a body off. They get in over thier heads and lose interest. Such a shame...

We need to keep the ones that are left. They aren't going to make em anymore.
