ebrake help!
Can someone post some pics of how the e-brake cable is supposed to be routed? I would like to get mine functional by this weekend

These pics might help out. You should have three cable hooks... two short and one long (circled) that attach the intermediate cable to the frame.

Sorry for the hyjack, but I have some questions for you
Never saw the bottom side of your truck, but I should've known it was as nice as the top side, great work!!! Resto, the hangers at the rear of the mufflers are bent at a 90 where the rubber is, have you had any trouble with that. I didn't know you could bend them like that, or is there metal on the underside supporting it. Second question, are you using your intermediate hanger on the drivers side? Thanks in advance... J. Thanks .. but truth be known, the exhaust install was a hack job to get me on the road. I made some flat cardboard templates and had a muffler shop bend the tube, then I cut them to fit and welded on the collectors and cross-over. I clamped everything together so I could easily take it out. Thing is, 10,000 miles later, I've had no reason to take it back for a professional install. I did end up replacing the Magnaflows with some Flow Masters shortly after getting on the road... much nicer tone now. No trouble at all with the bent rubber hangers, but again, not the way I would prefer to have it installed. I figured the intermediate hanger was for a single exhaust setup, and with the G-body style headers exiting so far back there wasn't much need to use it. It wasn't in the way so I didn't bother removing it either. I added a link in my sig to my Webshots album. Lots of pics of the buildup and a couple of new ones at this summer's car shows. Ummm.. back to the e-brake discussions... Resto
