QUESTION: Could you use 73-87 rear end w/ leaf springs on 69?

trying to get rid of the original trailing arm type of suspension on the rear and thinking of going with leaf springs. What do you all think?

just wondering why you would want to do that i would think the coil spring would ride alot nicer then the leaf. If i was going to change to any thing it would be air ride. its easy to do with these trucks.
