decided on a paint color for the dually
going to shoot it semi gloss black like the old school hot rods. I plan to change the interior to red and put a thin red stripe down the side. Like this truck below only much much higher. What do you think?

That will look great! Definitely let it sit higher than that picture. That's got to be murder on the exhaust and transmission to drive it sitting that low.

I think it's been done to death lately. What's wrong with the paint on it now?

If you are going for a new look, try Black on top with your silver like the one up top. that will set if off.

Re: decided on a paint color for the dually
The current paint is failing and needs to be reshot plus there is a huge dent in the bed on the other side compliments of a drunk driver

If ya go two tone i'd bring the top color down to the body line on the doors and fender then use the red stripe to brake them up. But i'm with Ken it's been way over used. Last edited by 87 STEPPER; 11-01-2007 at 10:06 AM. |

Re: decided on a paint color for the dually
The only problem I have with the two tone is the dually fenders I cant figure away to get the paint line on them with out looking like crap. I see allot of trucks that just leave the whole fender the lower color but then it looks like you forgot to paint it IMO. Please I am open to all suggestions
