Corner Store C-10
Well I ran down to the corner store and look what I find for sale. $13,900. I have never seen this truck in my area and really took me and my friend by surprise. Very clean 72.

Re: Corner Store C-10
Looks like an el cheapo resto asking good money. The Pep Boys trim on the side is my first complaint. It doesn`t even divide the colors. You can see white between it and the red. They got even cheaper and didn`t spring for another piece of lick`n`stick trim on the tailgate. On the tailgate...there`s a new woodgrain tailgate band which is correct. But being the only woodgrain on the exterior blows, especially on a red and white truck that just doesn`t compliment woodgrain.Nothing else is original, why start with one piece? It would look better black or color matched.I mean he wasn`t concerned with original anyway. The tail light trim needs the original upper trim or leave them off.He went with the standard window gaskets on a custom cab.
About the wheels...they do nothing for the truck. They may be nice on a wall or another ride or in a size that fills the wells. They just don`t pop to me.I think it would look 10x better all white or all red.Especially if he didn`t want to spend money on trim.Sorry,I`m picky at $13,500.

Re: Corner Store C-10
very good points... and you have every right to be picky with a price tag like that. That is a lot of money for an old vehicle... esp if it was slapped together for a flip - it sale.
However, the body lines are straight and lined up good... good signs of good work. |

I agree with Tim (Special-K).The rims really don't belong on it,IMO.It would look a whole lot better with original trim too..

Re: Corner Store C-10
no complaints from me other than the trim (of course - thats a biggie --- and for that kind of coin, i would expect a factory paint job and not a flip flop (but maybe it is factory - they smoked a lot of dope back then)

Re: Corner Store C-10
The correct trim and differant wheels would set it off. I wonder what it would look like with the top painted red? What kind of motor is in it?
