How does that work if a person has an open rear on their truck? Does the axle have to be a different one?

You can buy aftermarket gears to fit either the 3 or 4 series carriers. The factory gears only fit one carrier. Brian

I'll be passing also. I wish I could, I've been wanting a Posi for a LOOOONG time, but when I asked the house banker for a birthday present, I was laughed at. I hope it sells for you. (Actually I wish you wouldn't sell it so I could buy it later).
