Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
Last time I shipped an engine it cost me $350 using forward air in 2005. That was just an engine - no transmission. I was shipping from MS to CA. I had to supply a pallet and tie downs. I'm sure the cost has gone up with fuel costs where they are now. Hope that answers your question.

Wow, thats a hell of a deal! I wish I could let them go for that, but I have more than that in them. Hell I payed almost that much for my LT-1 about a year ago. That would have been a much better buy!

These are 6.0L LQ4 motors not LS-1's by the way w/4l65E tranny's, based on what I have seen on e-bay I don't think I am to far off but to each their own I guess.

Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
Folks, Please re-read the forum rules. Its posted at the top of every forum.
XII. It is against our policy for someone to post a complaint about a members price on whatever they are selling. If you don't like the price then skip it. Let it drop to the bottom on its own. They (potential buyers) will figure it out, why nobody is jumping on that particular item. |

Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
Are these the LQ4 or LQ9 engines? Would you consider selling one w/o the tranny/xfer case?
I have no need for a 4wd setup. |

Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
I will have to double check when I am at the shop tomorrow, but I believe they were LQ4'S, I will make sure of that when I get up their tomorrow. We really dont want to brake up the sets.

Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
Are they mine? Yes,I get them from my job (mashmotorsinc.com), we do duramax conversion on H1 and H2 hummers as well as some custom installs, we are also tied into hline conversions (hlineconversion.com) who if you watch CNN tomorrow night their will be a news story about the vehicle we built for Arnold Schwarzenegger and the vehicle we are about to build for Neal Young, they focus on adding dual fuel tech to the duramax, we have reallly been able get some amazing numbers both in HP and MPG.
So anyway I purchase them from my boss and then I turn around and sell them, so yes they are mine. Last edited by bigo181979; 11-17-2007 at 11:23 PM. |

Re: LS-1 Motor, Tranny, Computer, and Harness $3500
Yeah its a good way to make a little extra pocket cash for both me and him! We have had them sitting in our wharehouse just taking up space and collecting dust so I asked one day and he told me if I wanted them they were mine so we worked out sme numbers and I started selling them. I am hoping to sell enough of them to get my self one.
