Questions on carpet installation
I am ready to install the silver insulation under the carpet and then the new carpet I ordered. I tried using some spray on adhesive for the insulation and it didn't stick at all. Any ideas on how to do this and get the carpet looking nice and tight?

Re: Questions on carpet installation
What are you trying to get tight? Do you have foil back insolation you are trying to install first? Anything under that? WES

Re: Questions on carpet installation
You will have to glue the crap out of that insolation and work hard to stretch it into place. If you purchased a premolded carpet it will relax and lay down in a couple of days on top of the insolation. WES

Re: Questions on carpet installation
I used liquid nails to glue mine down. Tried the 3-M adhesive, and it wouldn't stick.
