A Little Progress Before Turkey Day

Been working on the bed for a little while. Finally see the light at the end of the paint booth? When I get this done, I'll finish the interior? Then just tires and alignment, and then road test.

Very nice! I've beed waiting a long time (I think since I joined) to see your project get on the road. I know your getting ready also. Man oince we tear them down, it seems to take a LOOOOOOOOONG time to get all those pieces back together.

Re: A Little Progress Before Turkey Day

Yea, I know what ya mean about taken forever. Been workin on it since '93. Started out with a lot of big ideas and a limited wallet. Begged, borrowed, traded and bought parts and repairs over the years. If I'd put all these little progress reports together, I'd probably have a 6" thick book?

I might have missed a previous post, but any information on the marker light filler? Things look like they are coming together on your project.

Looks great!

I got the light marker info from the FAQ index here on the boards, Modified here and there to suit my needs, but it's basically the one listed.

Since the pics were taken, they have dis-assembled the bed and removed it. Final sanding, and then paint. Should have it back before Christmas. Hope to have it together before Spring? (no heat in garage)
