kind of an odd question
I posted an add on craigs list to get rid of a 250I6 and a th400(as well as here) and I just had a guy ask if the th400 was a long or short shaft.
As far as I know th400's only had one tail shaft length,,,,,, I know the th350 had three tailshafts,,,,4wd,6" aka short and the 9" aka long Anyone know if the th400's had different length tail shafts? Frank

a version of the th400 was made with a long tail shaft, but this was formally called the th-375

Yes t-400s had some different length shafts but i dont remember exactly what they were!!!!The big impalas with t-400s had longer tail shafts!!!!!!!!
