Question Hood/cowl seal question...

I just received the seal that goes under the cowl between the cowl and the hood. The seal is "L" shaped, so the part that goes under the cowl would be flat/horizontal and the part that goes towards the hood could either go up or down. Which is it? Sorry I don't have any pics, and sorry if this doesn't make much sense.

Re: Hood/cowl seal question...

I looked at it again and it looks like it goes "up".
A confirmation would be cool though...

Re: Hood/cowl seal question...

It goes up. After several months of your hood pushing it down it will start to lay down better. WES

Re: Hood/cowl seal question...

BTW you can still get the OEM GM one. I bought one after i bought the "L" shaped one and didnt like it, it seemed to push the hood up at the back.
