What are your new years "Truck" resolutions?
I was just wondering what some if some of you had already made your new years "truck" resolutions. My resolution is to put some weight on--this frame. At least get the rolling chasis going.

Re: What are your new years "Truck" resolutions?
2008 will hopefully be a banner year for truck upgrades. Here's the "wish-list".
1. New rockers and floor extensions. 2. New Windshield 3. Relocate Fuel Tank. 4. Late model GM or Aftermarket 40/20/40 bench seat. 5. Prep, primer and install replacement fleet bed. 6. Install Serpentine system sitting on my bench. If time and money allows I'd also like to get the 3/5 drop w/ disc brakes installed.

Re: What are your new years "Truck" resolutions?
Put on all the parts I have in boxes, so I can clean out the garage a bit. Start the motor that I have been waiting over 10 years to hear.

1. address much needed safety issues i.e steering
2. new rocker panels (old one on drivers side is completely gone except for a couple rusty protrusions.) 3. repaint glovebox door to match interior (still grey primer dont rely match the black dash.) 4. fix other problems as time allows same as I did last year and just enjoy the ole girl

Re: What are your new years "Truck" resolutions?
1-Finish body work and paint the 71 K10.And then finish it all up and drive it.
2-Get the 350 back together and get the drivetrain under my 69 4wd.Drop on a body from a 2wd and just use it as a work truck. 3-Swap out the body on the 72 K1500 and get a motor in it. 4-Get the lift kit on the Blazer, fix some rust and have some fun with it... |

Re: What are your new years "Truck" resolutions?
Resolution for '69 GMC -- to get the frame looking like MisterE72's frame (is that Por-15, or powdercoat?)
have a finished rolling chassis and finished cab Resolution for '75 C-10 -- (hope to do most of this within 2 months)- ensure the recently transplanted 454 and tranny is reliable, drop it 3 in in front and 5 in back with a ECE drop kit and take it on PowerTour (where it will probably serve as the beer cooler and toolbox hauler for all my other buddies who are going. Resolution for '88 blazer: sell it to help fund my '69 chassis (the market for that generation blazer is so bad right now though, i may have to keep it -- its also fun on dirt lake roads after a rain or snow) Well thats it -- pretty ambitious for me, because i have a pretty full plate with my other activities -- but its not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things
