Unidentified Items

I'm trying to sort out my new truck and have a couple of things in the engine compartment I need help with.

1.) Where is the retaining strap around the alternator wires suppose to be bolted? It is shown here suspended in air.

2.) Are the 4 holes in the driver's inner fender where the "Cruise Master" cruise control would have been mounted? Does anyone recognize the bolt pattern?

3.) What is the yellow[ed] knob at the left side of the dash for? I can list options if that helps. I'm wondering if this is a typical item?

Re: Unidentified Items

For some reason I'm having a hard time figuring out how to post the pics. I followed the FAQ thread to the letter...I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Bear with me. I'm using Picasa.

I give up...I can't get them to show, so I'm giving giving the links to photos in the album (above).

Re: Unidentified Items

Don't know about the holes, the clip I think goes either on back of alternator or the fender well down at the front bottom.Yellow knob is some kind of add on. It doesn't have the over drive transmission does it? The orignal owner must have had it added for something..

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Unidentified Items

My alternator wiring is anchored to the inner fender at the bottom. If my memory serves me right in your first photo it would be the bolt that looks like it's right over the steering shaft. I can get a pic tomorrow if you like. I have no idea what the othe know/switch is for. I had a dual tank switchover that was close but it didn't look like yours. Is it a switch or does it pull out like a choke cable?
